What Are You Tolerating?

change light you up living intentionally success on your terms

The last few years I’ve been dreaming. Dreaming, dreaming, dreaming.

Until I got sick of it.

I got sick of only dreaming of a better life for myself.

Sick of planning.

Sick of talking about it.

Sick of journaling about it.

I’m not sure what gave me the kick in the ass to get things moving over the last few months.

Maybe it was the pandemic, and realizing that I was not interested in things ‘going back to normal’ because I was not interested in returning to my normal.

Maybe it was the knowledge that I was about to turn 50 in 2022.

Maybe it was the stark awareness that I’ve compromised way too much of my life away to make sure that everyone else in my life got to live out their dreams while I supported and encouraged them.

One month ago I left my successful, financially stable business behind.

Know what else I left behind? Clients that complained about my invoices, clients that pushed my boundaries, clients that were sexist, homophobic and racist. I left behind a business that was within an industry that didn’t wasn’t aligned with my values.

I was sick to FUCKING DEATH of all of it. And the financially stability, the success was no longer worth it.

What are you sick of?

What are you tolerating in your life? What have you been tolerating in your life for so long that you have just become used to it?

What would your life be like without it?

What if you didn’t need to tolerate it any more?

What if you didn’t need to compromise this any longer?

I now wake up every morning so happy to get to work.

I work on projects that light me up. I work with clients that are super excited about the work that they are doing AND value the work that I do for them. I get to choose who I work with…working with people that want to have positive impacts on the world, changing the trajectory of their families in positive ways, both financially and in terms of location independence and time freedom.

Are you living a life that lights you up yet?

Why not?
